MORENO Extendable Table, 160–200 cm, Rectangular, Nova Nook Walnut

MORENO by Nova Nook is a rectangular extending table with a dark walnut finish, a visibly grained top and gently rounded corners. Four slender legs leave the space beneath the table visually open. Walnut describes the finish rather than the timber: the top has ash veneer, while the legs are made from solid ash.

Allow for both table lengths

The top measures 160 × 90 cm in its shorter configuration, and the table stands 75 cm high. Extending it brings the longer side to 200 cm, adding 40 cm along the table. This gives you a shorter footprint for everyday meals and a longer surface when the occasion calls for it, without placing a second table alongside the first.

When choosing a position, measure for the full 200 cm length as well as the everyday setting. Leave space for chairs pulled back from the top and for movement behind their backs; the table footprint alone does not account for sitting down. MORENO can be planned into a separate dining room, a kitchen dining area or the dining zone of a living room. The rectangular top gives that area a clear lengthwise arrangement.

Ash construction, walnut colouring

The tabletop is MDF faced with ash veneer, with solid ash used for the legs. It should therefore not be confused with a solid walnut table. The photographs show understated grain, a plain apron beneath the top and rounded corners that soften the rectangular outline. These restrained details suit modern and minimalist interiors without relying on decorative carving or elaborate supports.

The extension and everyday surface protection

The manufacturer photographs show the separated top and the mechanism's guide rails, as well as the table in its shorter and extended forms. The surface is lacquered, but protection is still required when setting the table. Follow the manufacturer's instruction to use coasters or placemats and avoid placing wet or hot dishes directly on the top. This is a practical care requirement for the finish, not something the lacquer removes.
