Bollard Light NORLYS Asker 1311GR graphite LED 7.2 W 3000 K 85 cm

Asker 1311GR is a bollard light shaped like an inverted L: a straight 85 cm column turns at the top into a 20 cm horizontal arm that shines downwards. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016). The LED module and driver are built in, so no lamp is needed.

What light it gives

The fitting draws 7.2 W and delivers 573 lm, roughly what an old 40–60 W bulb gave — light for marking a path, a driveway or a border, not for lighting a whole garden. The LED module itself produces 1030 lm, but the arm sends light only downwards onto the ground around the bollard: 0.63% of the flux goes up, and the BUG rating is B0-U1-G0. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 renders plants and paving well. The bollard can be dimmed with a trailing-edge phase dimmer (Philips Xitanium TE driver). The light source is energy class C.

Mounting and wiring

The bollard weighs 4.01 kg and is 11 cm deep. It is bolted down through four ø8 mm holes at 18 × 50 mm spacing, following the supplied instructions. Foundation parts are sold separately: the concrete-in anchor 1907ZX0009, the ground anchor 1908GA0009, the concrete-foundation adapter 1909GA0010, or the mounting adapters 3090GA0009 and 3081XX0009.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.4 mm², and loop-through wiring up to 3 × 4 mm², so several bollards can share one supply line. The cable entry fits round cable of ø4–8, ø8–12 or ø10–13.6 mm. The fitting is protection class I and needs a protective earth; installation is for a qualified electrician.

Durability and service life

IP65 lets the bollard stand unprotected in rain and snow, and IK10, the top impact-resistance class, matters beside a path where it is easily knocked. The lens is UV-stabilised polycarbonate, with a silicone gasket and an EPDM gland. It works from −20 to +45 °C. The module keeps 80% of its flux after more than 102,000 h (L80) and the driver is rated for 50,000 h; LED and control gear are replaced only by a professional service.

Norlys intends Asker for gardens, private grounds and architectural projects — along a walkway, on a driveway, by a terrace or outside a hotel or restaurant. The plain, unornamented form suits modern architecture.
