The Mandal 1374BL is a black (RAL 9005) outdoor wall light shaped as a half-cylinder on a flat wall plate. It shines downwards only – clear safety glass closes the lower opening and the top of the housing is solid. The front is powder-coated steel, the wall plate hot-dip galvanised steel, and the light measures 9.2 × 12.2 × 10.5 cm.
Which lamp, and how much light
The fitting takes one GU10 LED lamp in PAR16 format, up to 4 W. The lamp is not included – it is bought separately and replaced by the user, and the manufacturer allows LED lamps only. The lamp you choose decides the colour of the light, the brightness and whether the light can be dimmed.
The manufacturer describes the distribution as one-sided, directed downwards at 25°. A BUG rating of B0-U0-G0 and a ULOR of 0% mean no light goes upwards, so the fitting does not brighten the sky or the wall above it; it puts a pool of light on the wall and ground below.
Installation and wiring
The light fixes to the wall through two ø4.2 mm holes spaced 45 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping through (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), so several lights on one facade can run on one supply line. The cable needs a round sheath 7–10.5 mm in diameter.
For mounting on the corner of a building the manufacturer sells a corner bracket (130XX0009) separately. 230 V supply and protection class I mean the circuit must include a protective earth.
Outdoor durability
IP44 protects against water splashing from any direction, which is enough on an outside wall exposed to rain. IK08 is the housing's impact rating. The gasket is silicone, and the light weighs 0.85 kg.
