Paul Neuhaus Q-Kon 2741-20 has one double-layered shade: clear outer glass surrounds a copper-coloured inner shade. Its round metal canopy has a coffee-brown finish. The layers remain visible when switched off, letting you assess the glass separately from the light colour. Comfort Lift raises and lowers the suspension by hand; the remote operates the lighting and does not move the shade.
Dimensions and positioning
The overall suspended height is 80–200 cm, with a length and width of 21 cm × 21 cm. Compare the footprint with the surface below and check clearance above the tabletop. Height describes the entire fitting from the ceiling, rather than the shade alone.
Light sources and controls
The integrated LED sources are included, so there are no separate bulbs to choose. The complete fitting draws 11 W and delivers an effective 300 lm. Use that figure to compare finished lights; 1054 lm is the combined output of the sources before losses within the fitting.
The included infrared remote adjusts brightness and 2700–5000 K white light continuously. Memory recalls the setting at the next switch-on. CCT changes the shade of white, without RGB colours. Connecting to a compatible Zigbee system enables app or voice control; the required system components must be selected separately.
At the lower end of the range, the white appears warmer and more yellowish; at the upper end it becomes cooler. Select brightness separately, without replacing a light source or changing the fitting height to alter the white tone.
