Paul Neuhaus Bowl 2286-23 brown LED pendant light, 5 lights, height adjustable

The Paul Neuhaus BOWL 2286-23 alternates three spherical smoked-glass shades with two slender light tubes. Five individual drops hang from a long ceiling canopy, with a brown finish linking the different shapes. It provides a segmented arrangement above a table rather than enclosing all the light sources in one large shade.

Plan the position of all five drops

The fitting measures 100 cm long and 18 cm wide. Compare its footprint with your tabletop or kitchen island before choosing the mounting position, and check where the ceiling electrical point sits. With a linear arrangement, the position of the outer drops matters as well as the centre of the fitting.

The overall height can be set between 100 and 180 cm. Each drop has its own Reutlinger adjustment mechanism, allowing the spheres and tubes to hang at similar or deliberately different levels. This changes the composition vertically; it does not change the spacing of the suspension points along the canopy. Check the ceiling-to-table distance when planning the final arrangement.

Warm LED light with switch-operated dimming

The LED modules are integrated, so there is no need to choose five separate screw-in bulbs. The light has a colour temperature of 2700 K, and the complete luminaire delivers an effective 1450 lm. The manufacturer specifies 36 W consumption for the whole fitting, separately from the rating of an individual LED module.

SimplyDim provides continuous brightness adjustment from 100% down to 10% through an ordinary light switch, without an additional dimmer. Its memory function recalls the last brightness setting when the light is switched on again. This is useful when the same dining area needs different light levels at different times.

Smoked glass and contrasting proportions

The round shades and straight tubes suit a modern dining room, a kitchen island or a dining space within a living room. The glass is handmade. The manufacturer notes that small irregularities can occur between pieces, so allow for these differences if perfectly matching glass surfaces are important to your choice.
