ABAPO LE44697 by Luces Exclusivas is a black aluminium ceiling light with a long, slender arm and a small light outlet at its tip. A cylindrical ceiling canopy and a narrow tube take the place of a broad shade. Its outline is linear, but the tube itself is not a continuously illuminated strip. The LED source is integrated into the fitting.

A narrow canopy with a substantial ceiling drop

The manufacturer specifies an overall height of 49.5 cm. The technical drawing also identifies a canopy diameter of 5 cm, a canopy height of 8.5 cm and an arm length of 41 cm. The compact fixing point should therefore not be mistaken for a shallow, flush ceiling panel. Compare the overall drop with the space available below your ceiling, particularly near opening doors or tall cabinetry.

Light leaves the end of the tube rather than its sides. This keeps the black arm visible as a separate design element while placing a local light accent below the fitting. It is a different effect from a linear luminaire with a luminous surface running along its length.

Warm white light for a supporting role

The built-in LED is rated at 4 W, 177 lm and 3000 K. That colour temperature provides warm white light. With this modest output, ABAPO is better planned as supplementary lighting than as the sole source for an entire living room. It can add an accent in a bedroom, entrance hall or corridor, with the same supporting role in hotel or restaurant interiors. Its slender appearance should not be taken as evidence of task-lighting brightness.

A simple black architectural detail

The unadorned geometry suits modern and modernist schemes without introducing a large decorative shade. This version operates at 230 V and needs no separately selected bulb. When combining it with other fittings, compare their colour temperatures with its 3000 K specification if a similar white tone matters across the space.
