Quintiesse Marni small LED table lamp QN-MARNI-TL-S-NBR, natural brass

The Quintiesse Marni QN-MARNI-TL-S-NBR is a small portable table lamp with an integrated LED. Its shade is a sphere of clear carved acrylic: photographs of this exact code show a dense lattice of diamond cuts, not a smooth globe. A flat natural-brass cap closes the top, and a short clear foot carries the lamp. The build combines steel with that acrylic, and the official sheet lists the finish as natural brass.

How much surface it needs

The fitting is 10.8 cm high and 11.1 cm across, and the lamp itself weighs 0.8 kg. The carton measures 14 × 14 × 13 cm and weighs 1.00 kg. The sphere is about as wide as a large orange or a broad mug, so it takes a corner of a bedside table or dressing table rather than the middle of a dining surface. Leave a few centimetres around the foot so the cut acrylic does not rest against a wall, a mirror or a picture frame.

Output, steps and runtime

The integrated source is rated 2 W, 135 lm, 3100 K and CRI 90, with a stated life of 50,000 hours. 3100 K is warm, closer to an incandescent glow than to office white. Dimming is a three-step touch control. The sheet gives about 7.5 hours at full output, about 11.5 hours at 60 percent and about 32 hours at 40 percent. A full battery charge takes 7 hours.

The energy label for QN-MARNI-TL-S shows class G and 2 kWh/1000 h. The LED is included, and the sheet does not describe replacement by the user.

Power and limits

The lamp runs from a rechargeable battery, and the official suitable location is interior. The manufacturer gallery shows a round charging plug seated in a socket under the foot. The sheet does not state charger voltage or an IP rating, so there is no basis for placing it beside a basin or taking it outdoors. Protection class I is listed on the specification, and the standard guarantee is 2 years.

Cut and character

The diamond cuts break the light into small sparks, and the brass cap stands against the clear sphere. Quintiesse links Marni to 1930s and 1940s cast-plaster lighting; this variant shows geometric crystal cutting and natural brass, not a plain globe.
