Until quite recently, rail lighting was used only in industrial or public spaces. Currently, busbars are a functional but also fashionable addition to homes. The possibilities offered by the rail system are as many as we have many ways to configure them. Also at any time, we can change the lamp spacing, add more or subtract if we find that there are too many of them. Rail spotlights are a very versatile solution. With their help, we can illuminate the living room, kitchen, hallway, study and garage. Their installation is child's play. Just plug them into the rail and secure with special clips and that's all! At any time, we can change their slope or rotate to illuminate a different space.

Types of luminaires used and their use in practice

The rail system allows installation not only of headlamp-like luminaires. With the right accessories, we can mount almost any lamp on the rail. This solution will especially appeal to people who would like to emphasize the selected space. This is an ideal way to illuminate a table or kitchen island. When we choose the room and lamps that we will use in the installation, it remains to decide whether we choose single-phase or three-phase rail lighting. The difference in these products is the inclusion of individual circuits. In the case of single-phase busbars, we control all lamps at once, i.e. they are switched on and off at the same time. If you choose a three-phase rail, you can decide which luminaires will glow and which will not, at the same time. In addition, this possibility gives us spotlights for use with three-phase busbars, because they are equipped with a control knob. We can therefore set each of them separately to the off position or the selected phase.

Ways of mounting rail lighting

Another advantage of choosing rail lighting is the ability to adjust its length and form to any room. If we need to illuminate the corridor, we will choose one rail of the appropriate length. However, if this length is more than 3m, we can add another rail, which will be attached via a suitable connector. The shape of the room is also not a problem. Using connectors, we can create a lighting system in the shape of the letters "T", "L", "X" or "I". This solution gives us unlimited possibilities. In addition, the track can be attached to the ceiling using "Slings", which is a metal rope. This solution will be used in high rooms.

The presented lighting set on the rail contains a 100 cm long track in the color of your choice. In addition, there are two headlights, whose advantage is the replaceable light source in the form of a GU10 bulb with a maximum power of 5W. Thanks to this solution you can choose the light bulb with the appropriate color temperature as well as light output. When the bulb is damaged, just replace it with a new one. This is a considerable saving compared to other headlights with an integrated light source. The kit includes a plug and power cord. It is up to you to choose which side of the rail to place such power supply. The whole set is white or black. It is a solution for people who do not like to waste time searching for each item and buying with uncertainty whether during installation it turns out that the devices do not match.
