Recessed ceiling light SLV MILANDOS 6 matt white 6×LED 2700K 45° 1005417

SLV MILANDOS 6, article 1005417, is a recessed ceiling fitting with six round light openings in one short, matt-white bar. The LEDs are built into this 2700 K version. It is not a fitting for a separate bulb and not a single round downlight.

Ceiling opening and the void above it

The outline is 19.6 cm long, 5.6 cm wide and 4.3 cm high. SLV specifies a 19 by 4.9 cm opening and an installation depth of 7 cm. Compare the ceiling void with the stated 7 cm installation depth, not only with the height of the body.

The rear shows mounting springs and an outgoing lead: the fitting sits in the ceiling, not on its surface. Before cutting, check the 19 by 4.9 cm opening and space for a separate driver.

Six points of warm-white light

The six integrated LEDs work as one set: declared output is 960 lm at a rated 12 W. A colour temperature of 2700 K is warm white. CRI is 90. The 45° beam is narrower than diffuse general light, so the lit patch also depends on ceiling height.

UGR is stated as 23 or lower. It is not low-glare light for an office desk. Lumen maintenance is given as L80B50 at 60,000 h. Colour cannot be switched: article 1005417 is 2700 K only, while 3000 K and black versions use other article numbers.

The 700 mA driver is bought separately

Protection class III and a 700 mA secondary current mean the fitting is not connected directly to mains voltage. A constant-current 700 mA LED driver is not in the box. The datasheet lists SLV 1002423 and 1006202 as accessories. The fitting itself is marked non-dimmable and not DALI-capable.

IP20 is not a rating for a bathroom, a wet zone or outdoor use. Impact resistance is IK02, and the datasheet assigns photobiological risk group RG1. The LED modules are not user-replaceable.

A short bar, not a light over a table

A length of 19.6 cm and 960 lm suit a ceiling in a corridor, hallway or dressing room, or a warm ceiling accent in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room. It does not replace a light hung over a table, worktop lighting or a desk lamp. The plain matt-white trim fits modern, minimal interiors.
