Rendl KICK II R12618 black outdoor recessed wall light LED 3 W 3000 K IP54

Rendl KICK II R12618 is a black recessed wall light for orientation lighting. Its circular face has two opposing curved openings, with an unbroken central section between them. Integrated LEDs send light in two directions. This is the black version, rather than the white or brushed-aluminium finish offered in the same family.

Two light outlets, one compact face

The 3 W integrated LED source has a warm-white colour temperature of 3000 K and a manufacturer-stated luminous flux of 120 lm. Its role is local orientation lighting beside a passage or entrance, not general illumination across an entire garden or terrace. The two openings are part of the light distribution, rather than simply decorative cuts in the front.

Two-sided emission distinguishes KICK II from other versions in the range. Take both outlets into account when planning its position instead of assuming the effect of a single-direction step light. There is no E27 or GU10 bulb to choose for this fitting: the LED light source is already integrated.

Check the space inside the wall

The visible face is 5 cm in diameter, while the required mounting hole is 4 cm across. Rendl specifies an 8 cm recess depth and an overall dimension of approximately 9 cm. Compare these measurements with the wall construction before ordering; a small face does not mean that the body needs no space behind it. The installation manual illustrates insertion into the prepared opening and the electrical connection.

Outdoor placement and architectural style

This IP54 version is intended for installation in outdoor walls. It can supplement lighting at an entrance, a façade beside a route or a terrace wall, including around a hotel. It is not an underwater fitting or a drive-over ground light. The textured black disc and curved cut-outs suit modern and modernist architecture without an ornamental arm or projecting shade. The fitting uses 230 V AC and includes its power-supply component. Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer with the electricity isolated.
