Rendl ELISA R11874 is a pendant suspension for a lampshade, rather than a lampshade itself. A round metal ceiling canopy and metal E27 lampholder have a chrome finish, linked by a white textile cable. The manufacturer allows use either with a shade or with the bulb exposed, giving two distinct ways to build the finished light.

Choose the matching shade size

Rendl lists compatibility with DOUBLE 40/30 and 55/30, ASPRO 40/30 and 55/30, RON 40/25, 55/30 and 60/19, and TEMPO 30/19 and 50/19. Check the full size designation when putting a combination together: a family name alone does not identify the recommended shade. This suspension provides the hanging base, while the selected shade determines much of the completed fitting's outline. Without a shade, the metal holder and chosen bulb remain visible.

Plan the drop from the ceiling

The cable is 150 cm long. The canopy measures 10 cm across and 2 cm high; these are ceiling-component measurements, not the height or width of a complete shaded pendant. Compare the cable length with the distance from your ceiling to the intended lampholder position, allowing for the chosen shade as well. The installation instructions require a qualified installer and isolation of the electrical supply before work.

Select the light source separately from the look

The suspension is rated for 230 V and an E27 LED bulb of no more than 15 W. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb selected. Dimming requires a suitable light source, rather than being guaranteed with any E27 bulb. Chrome and white textile form a restrained base for modern living rooms, dining areas or kitchens, including positions over a table. The eventual light distribution also depends on the shade and bulb, not on the suspension alone.
