Rendl RON 40/25 R11520 is a cylindrical lampshade with orange chintz fabric on the outside and white PVC inside. It is a component for building a lighting arrangement, not a complete pendant light supplied with a cable and ceiling canopy. Its broad drum shape pairs a strong textile colour with an outline free from ornamental detailing.
Plan around the shade, not the pictured suspension
The shade measures 40 cm in diameter and 25 cm in height. These dimensions do not describe the overall size of an assembled pendant or floor lamp. Compare its width with the intended position, then allow for the dimensions of the separately chosen base or suspension. The sides are vertical rather than tapering towards the top, so the silhouette remains a wide cylinder. This proportion matters when deciding how the shade will sit alongside the rest of the lighting assembly.
E27 compatibility and separately selected parts
Rendl specifies an E27 fitting and installation on a ceiling base, pendant set or floor-lamp stand. Select compatible components for the arrangement you intend to make. Suspension hardware shown in the photographs illustrates a possible combination rather than the complete contents of this offer. The manufacturer lists accessory families including SOLO, HEX, ELISA, ENZO and WOODY. A PMMA diffuser, identified as G11867 or R12299, can also be ordered separately.
The instruction sheet expressly covering R11520 sets a maximum of 23 W for E27. This is a limit, not a brightness rating or a statement that a bulb is supplied. Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer with the power disconnected. Handle the shade carefully: the manufacturer specifically warns that it can be damaged during handling.
An orange textile accent with a simple outline
The fine visible weave and undecorated drum form support a modern interior scheme. Consider it when assembling lighting for a living room, bedroom or dining area. The eventual position and installation height depend on the selected stand or suspension, rather than on the appearance of the shade in a photograph alone.
