s.luce Ball is a single pendant light with a copper-coloured metal shade and black suspension. A distinctive slit cuts through its spherical form, while the opening underneath reveals the light-coloured interior. This version measures 30 cm in diameter and takes one E27 bulb.
A movable shade that can be replaced
The shade can be repositioned to adjust the direction of its opening towards the surface below. Light also escapes through the slit in the metal, which remains a visible detail when the source is on. This provides an adjustment separate from hanging height: the shade position can change while the ceiling suspension point stays in place.
The manufacturer designed the slit so that the shade can be changed without tools. Shades and suspension components can also be ordered separately within this series. This product supplies the copper-coloured 30 cm shade on a black cord; replaceability does not mean that an extra shade is included.
Size and choosing a light source
The shade is 30 cm high and 30 cm in diameter, giving dimensions to compare with the space above a dining table or kitchen island. Maximum suspension is 150 cm. The manufacturer identifies living rooms, dining areas, kitchens and bedrooms as uses, including an alternative to a bedside lamp.
One E27 bulb rated at no more than 40 W is required and is not included. Light colour and brightness are therefore chosen with the bulb. Dimming needs a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer. The spherical metal shade with its opening creates a modern form; copper describes the metal's finish. The fitting connects to a 230 V installation with the earth conductor required for Class I protection.
