s.luce Orb 5-Light E27 Pendant 160 cm, Gold Gradient and Smoked Glass, Black Suspension

The s.luce Orb 179623 combines five glass globes beneath a shared black ceiling bar. Three shades have a gold gradient fading into clear glass, while two are smoked. Their different sizes and staggered suspension heights create an uneven composition rather than a row of matching spheres.

A 160 cm bar above a table or kitchen island

The manufacturer identifies dining tables and kitchen islands as intended settings for this pendant. The 160 cm measurement refers to the ceiling bar, not the diameter of an individual globe. The arrangement includes shades measuring 20, 30 and 40 cm across. Before choosing its position, compare both the bar length and the space occupied by the largest globes with your tabletop.

Maximum suspension is 150 cm. The official description confirms that globe height and position can be adjusted during installation, allowing the arrangement to be planned around a particular table. The photograph shows five drops at different levels; it does not indicate five equally sized shades. In a combined living and dining space, the long bar can define the table area without repeating separate ceiling fittings.

Choose five E27 bulbs separately

There are five E27 sockets, and light bulbs are not supplied. Include five suitable bulbs when planning the complete installation. Their colour temperature and luminous flux determine the lighting specifications of the assembled fitting. Gold-coloured glass does not specify the light's colour temperature, and the visible bulb shapes also contribute to the appearance through the glass.

Dimming is supported with suitable light sources. If adjustable brightness is required, select compatible dimmable bulbs and controls as a system. An E27 socket alone does not make every bulb fitted to it dimmable.

Gold gradient, smoked glass and black metal

Glass, metal and slender drops give the composition a modern, restrained outline, with the globes providing the main visual volume. Variant 179623 is not entirely gold: the two smoked shades and black suspension are part of its identity. Compare the actual glass and suspension finishes when pairing it with other Orb fittings, rather than relying on the family name alone.
