s.luce Echos 190924 eight-light E27 pendant, brown glass, black suspension, Ø 80 cm ceiling canopy

The s.luce Echos 190924 is an eight-light pendant with brown glass shades and a black suspension. Each shade has a distinctly rippled surface, while eight separate textile cables form a group beneath one round ceiling canopy. This article number identifies the brown-and-black combination, rather than the clear, smoked or mixed-colour versions shown elsewhere in the collection.

Distinguishing shade size from canopy size

Each glass shade measures 18 cm in diameter. The shared ceiling canopy is much larger, measuring 80 cm across and 4 cm high. The 18 cm figure therefore does not describe the width of the complete fitting. Allow for the common ceiling footprint and the arrangement of all eight drops, rather than treating it as a single small pendant.

The textile cables are 500 cm long, and the manufacturer explicitly permits shortening during installation. The individual drops can therefore be set to suit the room height. Before deciding their final lengths, compare the position of the lowest shade with the space above your table or walking route. Cable length alone does not establish the finished clearance in a particular room.

Eight replaceable E27 lamps

The fitting has eight E27 sockets, with light bulbs supplied separately. Your bulb selection determines brightness and colour temperature; brown glass is a finish description, not a specified light colour. The manufacturer allows dimming with suitable lamps. If dimming is required, choose bulbs and controls that work together instead of assuming that every E27 bulb supports it.

A grouped pendant for tall interiors

The manufacturer identifies dining tables, living areas, galleries and stairwells as uses for this Echos configuration. Its long suspension is particularly relevant where the shades need to sit well below a high ceiling. A plain black canopy and thin cables give the hand-blown, textured glass a contemporary setting. In a minimalist interior, the repeated shape of the eight shades provides the decorative element without branching arms or an elaborate supporting frame.
