s.luce Orb pendant 5xE27, smoke gradient glass, 160 cm bar, white

This s.luce Orb configuration is a five-globe pendant on a white 160 cm bar. The globes measure 20, 30 and 40 cm in diameter and use smoke-gradient glass (Rauch Verlauf), so the set is not a row of identical opal spheres. Lamps are not included: each globe has an E27 holder.

Bar size and drop

The metal canopy is 160 × 25 × 4 cm with a single longitudinal slot. The five cables slide in that slot so the globes can be spaced to the table. Maximum drop is 150 cm. The cable is shortened on installation; 150 cm is the upper limit, not a fixed working height.

Compare the 160 cm bar with the length of the dining table or kitchen island at home. The luminaire is indoor-rated IP20, so it is not for bathrooms or outdoor use.

E27 lamps and dimming

Five E27 holders run at 230 V. The manufacturer states 40 W as the limit per holder, not as an integrated LED load. Colour and brightness come from the lamps you fit. Dimming works only with suitable lamps and a dimmer; the fitting has no onboard control.

Protection class I needs an earth conductor. Five separate points spread light along the table axis instead of concentrating it at one centre.

Gradient glass and placement

Variant 179627 (EAN 4064782981908) pairs smoke-gradient glass with a white suspension. The gradient partly veils the lamp and throws a different pattern from opal or fully clear glass. Materials are glass and metal.

A linear five-globe layout suits a dining table and a kitchen island, where the bar follows the worktop axis. The manufacturer also tags bedrooms; with a 160 cm bar and five globes that is realistic in a larger room with a long axis, not a tight alcove. The form is modern and spare: smooth spheres and a straight bar, without chandelier arms.
