Sigma Coffee 2 – a two-light pendant drawn in steel and plywood

Coffee 2 has a horizontal silhouette built from black painted steel and brown plywood. Two broad wooden rings frame the exposed bulbs, while smaller linked circles continue the pattern between them. The layered plywood edges remain visible and give the lower element a distinct graphic quality. Above it, a slim black bar, cylindrical lampholder housings and a rectangular ceiling canopy form a disciplined structural line. The open outlines avoid the visual weight of solid shades, so the fitting can span 50 cm while preserving a clear view through and around its design.

A balanced arrangement for a longer surface

The two light points are positioned apart beneath the bar rather than gathered in the centre. This makes the format relevant above a compact rectangular dining table, kitchen peninsula or console, where illumination needs to follow the length of the surface. A depth of 21 cm keeps the proportions narrow. Both bulbs remain fully visible from the side and below, so using a matching pair helps the lamp retain its intended symmetry. Their glass shape and light colour will have a direct influence on the finished appearance.

Set the drop and choose the bulbs

Maximum overall height is 80 cm. During installation, the suspension can be set in relation to the furniture below, with care taken to level the long crossbar. Coffee 2 takes two E27 light sources. Sigma specifies a maximum of 60 W for a conventional bulb or 15 W for an LED bulb, per socket. Bulbs are not supplied, leaving their output, colour temperature and shape to be selected for the room. Decorative filament-style forms can be particularly noticeable inside the unshaded rings.
