Mars 1 32256 – a black pendant with a gold interior

Sigma Mars 1 32256 is defined by a controlled contrast. The outside of its steel shade is matte black, while the underside introduces a gold colour. A rounded dome narrows towards the top and meets a rectangular support bracket, adding an industrial detail without elaborate decoration. The black cable and round ceiling canopy continue the monochrome line up to the ceiling. Gold is most apparent when the fitting is viewed from below, acting as a concealed accent around the bulb rather than covering the entire exterior.

A compact shape for a focused area

The shade is 15 cm in diameter and the complete pendant is 90 cm high. Its modest scale works above a side table or small counter, and it can also be repeated as several individual fittings when a project calls for a regular sequence. The solid metal dome screens the source from the sides and opens downwards. Its gold-coloured inner surface sits in the reflected light, allowing the black and gold relationship to remain visible after the lamp is switched on.

Replaceable light selected for the setting

One E27 holder accepts an LED bulb rated at a maximum of 15 W. The bulb is not supplied, leaving its colour temperature and output to be chosen for the intended location. It sits within the shade and does not dominate the outline in the manner of an exposed socket design. A product weight of 0.50 kg is useful when preparing the ceiling fixing.
