Powerful LED floodlight with motion and twilight sensor

The XLED ONE XL Sensor is a powerful LED floodlight from Steinel designed for lighting facades, driveways, terraces and house entrances. The stylish LED panel in an aluminium housing produces a light output of 4200 lm at a warm 3000 K colour temperature, drawing only 42.6 W (efficacy of around 99 lm/W). The bracket swivels through 180°, so the floodlight can be mounted on a wall or facade as well as on a ceiling or under a roof overhang, with the light head aimed precisely where it's needed.

Motion and twilight sensor in one

The built-in infrared sensor, with a 180° detection angle and range of up to 12 m, automatically switches the light on as soon as it detects movement in its field of view. The time the light stays on after detecting motion can be set from a few seconds up to 35 minutes, and the twilight sensitivity threshold is adjustable between 2 and 1000 lux, so the floodlight can be set to switch on only after dark.

Thoughtful installation

The power cable is routed outside the housing, which speeds up installation and reduces the risk of accidentally compromising the product's seal. The manufacturer recommends an optimum mounting height of around 2 m (maximum 3 m) above ground. The floodlight has an IP44 rating (protected against splashing water from any direction) and Class I protection, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +40°C, so it can be used confidently all year round, including in winter.

Solid build and dimensions

The housing is made from aluminium with a clear cover, giving it durability and weather resistance. The floodlight measures 22.2 cm in length, 25.9 cm in width and 21.5 cm in height, and weighs approximately 1.4 kg. The declared LED lifespan is 50,000 hours of operation.
