Sigma Vasco 50118 – a black table lamp drawn in one strong line

Vasco 50118 combines a flat circular base, an angled frame and a broad shade carried to one side of the structure. Rounded bends soften the geometry of the steel rod, while the consistent black painted finish connects every element. Designed and manufactured in Poland by Sigma, the lamp suits a modern study, living room or bedroom. It can sit on a desk, chest of drawers, side table or bedside cabinet where its tall outline has room to remain visible.

Dimensions for practical placement

The model is 55 cm high, 30 cm wide and 35 cm deep. Its shade measures 25 cm in diameter and 8 cm high. Because the shade is appreciably wider than the base, check both the available surface and the clearance above it. The metal frame positions the shade away from the centre of the foot, leaving usable space beneath the light. The switch is mounted low on the body rather than on the cable.

Choose light for the activity

The shade is open underneath and directs light towards the surface below or beside the lamp, while leaving the bulb partly visible. The E27 lampholder allows a suitable LED colour temperature and brightness to be chosen for reading, desk work or lower-key evening lighting. Keep within the 15 W LED limit. A decorative bulb shape can complement the black fitting because it remains part of the view from below.
