Accurate neutral-white light in a compact strip

LED Labs PROFI 3Y is a five-metre single-colour LED strip made for 24 V installations. This 16-2390-01 version uses SMD 2835 LEDs at a density of 200 LEDs per metre and produces neutral-white 4000 K light. With 1410 lm/m and CRI 90, it is a considered choice for continuous lighting where colour appearance matters as much as a clean, even line of light. Its rated load is 10 W/m, so the 24 V power supply should be selected for the length that will actually be installed.

Made for exact lengths

Cutting at every LED lets the strip finish precisely at the end of a shelf, recess or prepared LED profile instead of leaving an awkward surplus. The rear Blue Tape mounting layer is intended for application in a clean profile. The 3Y range uses a 3 oz copper PCB; the manufacturer specifies lower voltage drops than with standard LED strips.

Where it works well

Neutral-white light suits kitchen worktops, office furniture, hallways, bedrooms and supplementary living-room lighting. This is IP20 equipment, so it is not intended for outdoor use or bathroom areas exposed to water. Measure the run before fitting, then pair the strip with compatible 24 V power, a suitable profile and the installation accessories required by the chosen surface.
