Nowodvorski TIKA 11979 is a compact table lamp with a brown ceramic body and a white glass shade. Vertical fluting continues across both parts, while the broad, rounded shade sits above a narrower base, giving the lamp its distinctive mushroom-like outline.
A small lamp for a cabinet or bedside table
TIKA measures 19 cm high and 16 cm wide; the shade is also 16 cm wide. These proportions make it worth considering where a larger table lamp would occupy too much of the available surface. For a shelf, compare the dimensions with its depth and the clearance above it, and allow additional room for the cable to leave the lamp.
The free-standing design suits supplementary lighting on a living-room cabinet, a bedside table or a hallway console. It can serve the same decorative role on furniture in a hotel room or restaurant. Its compact form is intended as an additional light point rather than an adjustable-arm task lamp.
Choose the light with a replaceable E27 bulb
The lamp takes one E27 bulb with a maximum power of 25 W. No bulb is supplied: the manufacturer lists the luminaire and instructions as the package contents. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the bulb you choose, not on the appearance of the illuminated product photographs.
A switch is visible on the cable. When deciding where to place the lamp, leave that switch accessible as well as making room for the cable. The specified supply is ~220β230 V; this is a mains-powered lamp, not a rechargeable light for use without an electrical connection.
A fluted silhouette with a retro reference
The brown lower section contrasts with the pale glass above it, while the repeated vertical grooves visually connect the two materials. The rounded mushroom shape introduces a retro reference, and the simple arrangement of two volumes also works with contemporary interiors. Choosing a different bulb changes the lighting specification without changing the visible ceramic body or glass shade.
