Trio BELAJA 821660107 is a round LED ground light designed for recessed installation, not a freestanding garden bollard. Its matt nickel ring surrounds a recessed light aperture, while the lower body sits beneath the finished surface. The manufacturer specifies stainless steel as the luminaire material.
Plan for the space below the surface
The fitting measures 11 cm in diameter and 14.5 cm in overall height. That height describes the recessed body rather than a post projecting above the ground. Before ordering, compare the available depth beneath your paving or terrace with the installation requirements, not just the visible ring diameter.
The exact-model instructions show a 91 mm opening and a prepared depth of 200 mm. They also show drainage beneath the fitting and a cable connection inside an IP65 box. BELAJA therefore needs a prepared mounting location and electrical installation; it is not a portable lamp to move between seating areas. The installation drawing is particularly useful when planning the surface before it is laid.
A warm upward accent
The included integrated LED source is rated at 3.5 W, with a source luminous flux of 350 lm and a warm-white colour temperature of 3000 K. The manufacturer's 40° beam angle suits a defined accent rather than the surrounding spread associated with a bollard. Position and spacing should follow the feature you want to highlight, rather than an assumption that one small fitting will illuminate an entire outdoor area. This version runs on 230 V and is not dimmable; there is no separate bulb to choose.
Driveways, terraces and garden beds
TRIO identifies garage entrances, patios and garden beds as intended settings and declares a maximum load of 2000 kg. That rating must be considered alongside the prescribed installation. IP65 provides protection against dust and water jets, not permission to submerge the light. The circular metal trim and recessed construction suit restrained contemporary landscaping where the fitting itself remains close to the surface.
