Trio DIVA pendant light 319830332, 3 × E27, matt black and chrome-finished glass

Trio DIVA 319830332 is a three-light pendant with a matt black metal canopy and three glass shades with a chrome-plated finish. Each shade has a different outline: elongated, broad and rounded, or smaller and almost spherical. The drops form a compact group beneath one circular canopy rather than a row of lights suspended from a long bar.

Reflective glass in two lighting states

The glossy shades contrast with the black cables and lampholders. The manufacturer's photographs show the fitting both switched on and off. Reflections become more prominent on the unlit glass, while the illuminated bulbs can be seen through the shades when the light is on. Bulb appearance therefore contributes to the composition instead of remaining a concealed technical detail.

The combination of different geometric forms and contrasting surfaces suits modern and modernist interiors. Chrome-finished glass is not the same as a fully clear shade or an opaque white diffuser. When choosing a pendant for a dining area, compare the lit and unlit views rather than judging the fitting from its illuminated photograph alone.

Dimensions and position above a surface

Trio specifies a height of 150 cm and a width of 38.5 cm. The canopy itself is 30 cm in diameter, while the three shades have diameters of 14, 15 and 20 cm. These measurements describe different parts, allowing you to distinguish the ceiling attachment footprint from the space occupied by the suspended glass.

The suspension height is adjustable. Before installation, compare the intended position of the lowest shade with the height of your tabletop and the sightlines of seated people. The manufacturer identifies dining tables, coffee tables and kitchen counters as suitable placements. This grouped arrangement makes a different composition from pendants spaced along the full length of a counter.

Three bulbs, purchased separately

The fitting requires three E27 bulbs, each rated at no more than 10 W. Bulbs are not included. Light colour and brightness therefore depend on the sources you select, rather than being fixed characteristics of DIVA. Check bulb dimensions against the individual shades as well as checking the screw base and wattage limit. This model is intended for ceiling mounting and a 230 V supply.
