Trio DUOline 73700132 E14 track pendant, black with chrome-coated glass

Trio DUOline 73700132 is a single pendant for the DUOline two-circuit track system. Its round chrome-coated glass shade contrasts with the matt black fitting and slender suspension. Rather than a spotlight head, it places a glass globe with an opening underneath the track.

Track compatibility and suspension height

This fitting is intended for a ceiling-mounted DUOline track. Plan the installation around components from that system rather than assuming the adapter will fit any single-circuit or three-circuit track. The installation instructions show selection of the first or second circuit at the adapter. The system's two circuits do not mean that this pendant has two bulbs.

The shade measures 18 cm in diameter, and the stated overall height is 180 cm. The manufacturer confirms that the height is adjustable; the instructions illustrate shortening the cable at the adapter. Before fitting it, compare the ceiling height and the position of your tabletop with the intended lower edge of the shade. Follow the illustrated adjustment procedure instead of winding excess cable around the track. The height describes a suspended fitting, not a freestanding lamp.

Choose one E14 bulb separately

There is one E14 socket with a maximum bulb rating of 40 W. A bulb is not supplied. The manufacturer recommends an LED bulb, leaving its colour temperature and light output to your choice of light source. Specifications of a suggested bulb are therefore not fixed performance figures for the pendant itself. The illuminated bulb shown in the photograph does not imply that it comes in the package.

A mirrored globe for living spaces

The manufacturer lists living rooms and bedrooms as applications. The adjustable suspension and 18 cm shade also make a position over a dining table or kitchen island worth considering, after checking the required clearance and light output. A single socket does not establish whether the whole room will be adequately lit. Its simple geometry suits modern and minimalist interiors, while the reflective glass remains a visible decorative feature when the lamp is off.
