V-TAC VT-10178 black garden bollard with 230 V socket, GU10, 80 cm

V-TAC VT-10178: light and power beside the home

The black V-TAC VT-10178 garden bollard is 80 cm high and combines a lighting fitting with a 230 V electrical socket. Its slim rectangular aluminium body and matt finish give a clean, contemporary appearance to an outdoor setting. The upper section accepts a replaceable GU10 lamp, with a maximum permitted lamp wattage of 10 W. A lamp is not confirmed as included, so the light colour and output can be selected separately for the intended setting.

A useful point in the garden

The integrated 230 V socket is specified at 16 A and a maximum of 3600 W. This gives the bollard two clear roles: marking an outdoor route after dark and providing access to electricity at a chosen point on the property. The manufacturer lists gardens, terraces, driveways, paths and areas around a gazebo or pergola as suitable uses. Input is AC 220–240 V, 50 Hz. The stated technical protection is IP44, with IK06 impact resistance.

Form and planning

A straight vertical body, black colour and ribbed light cover create a modern look that is also visible in the product imagery. The aluminium construction weighs 1.56 kg. Before installation, plan the mounting position, electrical supply and compatible GU10 lamp. Part of the V-TAC Garden Bollards series, this model is a considered option where outdoor illumination and an additional power point are both needed.
