DISK I (7645) is a wall light on an arm: a thin black rod rises from a small cylindrical wall mount and bends forward, and from its end hangs a plywood disc in a dark wood tone. A black lampholder under the disc directs the light downwards. The body is lacquered steel in black RAL 9005.
Dimensions and where to mount it
The light is 38 cm high and projects 35 cm from the wall. That is a lot for a wall fitting, so when mounting it above a bed or sofa, or in a hallway, check how much room is left in front of the wall — in an 80 cm wide passage the arm takes up almost half. The wall mount measures 4.5 × 8.5 cm, and an arrow on the manufacturer's drawing shows that the disc can be turned.
The fitting is fixed on a mounting bridge. The box contains the light and the installation instructions, and the light weighs 0.65 kg. It is a protection class I fitting, so it must be connected to the protective earth. The manufacturer intends it for indoor use.
Which light source to choose
The light has one GX53 lampholder for a flat LED lamp of up to 12 W. The manufacturer allows LED sources only, and no lamp is included — it has to be bought separately. So you choose the colour and brightness yourself: bedrooms and living rooms usually get 2700–3000 K, which is warm light, and an office a neutral white.
Which interior it suits
The manufacturer classes DISK as modern: a plain line of steel rod and a flat disc with no ornament, with a single warm wood accent. It is intended for the living room, bedroom, kitchen and dining room, the hallway, the office and study, as well as hotels and restaurants. The light is made in Poland, in Częstochowa.
