LASER WALL 8048 is a wall lamp in the form of a vertical steel tube painted white. The body is 40 cm high and 2.5 cm wide, open at both ends, and stands 6.5 cm off the wall. The white finish is P004 RAL 9003.
How large it is and where it fits
The 40 cm height and 2.5 cm width are figures to compare with a free strip of wall β beside a mirror, in a hallway, or next to a headboard. The 6.5 cm projection means the tube barely enters the walkway; this is not an arm sconce.
The fitting weighs 0.41 kg. The manufacturer intends it for indoor rooms: living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, hallway, office and study, as well as hotel and restaurant. The shape is smooth, without ornament β modern and minimalist.
Which lamps you need to buy
Inside the tube are two G9 lampholders, one at each open end. Lamps are not included. Each holder takes a maximum of 10 W and LED only β the metal housing cannot shed halogen heat.
At 2.5 cm width a plain omnidirectional G9 mainly lights the inside of the pipe instead of leaving the open ends. The manufacturer recommends a G9 with a lens that directs the beam out of the opening: code 9173 at 3000 K (warm white) or 8447 at 4000 K (neutral white). Both codes are sold separately. Colour and brightness come from the lamp, not the fitting. The two points share one light section, so they switch together from the wall; there is no switch on the sconce.
What arrives in the box and how it mounts
The pack includes neither lamps nor a mounting kit β fixings are chosen to suit the wall. Mounting is by a bridge plate through the base against the wall. Protection class I requires a protective earth in the installation.
Supply is 220-230 V at 50/60 Hz. The fitting is indoor only. 8048 is the wall-mounted white variant of the LASER series, 40 cm high.
