The white LUMINES inSILEDA end cap, article 12-0971-00, is an ABS plastic finishing component for an LED profile. It has a flat form and a hole for the supply cable. This is the plastic version, not the aluminium end cap offered within the same product family.
Selecting the correct inSILEDA component
The cap is intended for the inSILEDA profile. When assembling linear lighting, check the designation of the profile you are using: the similar name SILEDA does not automatically establish compatibility with this end cap. White lets you coordinate the end piece with a white profile rather than choosing the grey, silver or black version.
The manufacturer's universal-side designation applies to this end cap within the inSILEDA system. It does not mean that the component fits every LED profile. The opening lets the supply cable pass through the profile end, which matters when planning the position of the power connection.
Fixing with two screws
The manufacturer specifies a two-screw fixing method. This is a finishing part, not a complete light fitting or a profile with a light source. The system diagram shows it alongside a profile, DOUBLE cover, LED strips and mounting springs; these components should not be interpreted as contents of the end-cap offer. Selection of the remaining parts depends on the complete lighting assembly being planned.
