The Zambelis 23148 is a cross connector for the 48 V Space Frame magnetic lighting system. It has four arms at right angles, so it joins four sections of the system at one point — this is how the crossings in a grid of suspended light tubes are formed. It is made of plastic in matt black.
Dimensions and place in the system
The connector measures 70 × 70 mm in plan and 30 mm in height, matching the diameter of the Space Frame tubes (Ø 30 mm) it joins. The manufacturer specifies it for indoor installation only. The same system also has an L corner connector (23149), a T connector (23150), an inner connector (23156) and an end cap (23151) — the cross is chosen where four sections meet in the layout.
What it needs to work
The connector itself gives no light and is not a stand-alone lamp. The light comes from the system's 48 V LED tubes and magnetic tracks, and power comes from the ceiling base with a 48 V 150 W power supply (23154 with on/off switching or 23157 with DALI control). The pendant tube for suspension (23152) and the feeder tube (23155) are separate articles as well. All of these are ordered separately, according to the layout design.
The connector is packed singly, in an 8 × 8 × 5 cm box with a gross weight of 0.1 kg.
