Wall washer for architectural façades

Zambelis E498 is a linear LED wall washer made to accent façades and architectural details. Its dark-brown aluminium-and-glass housing measures 100 cm long, 4 cm wide and 8.9 cm high. The slim profile sits discreetly on a contemporary building and creates a controlled line of light along the wall after dark.

Light distribution and control

The integrated 36 W LED module operates at 24 V and provides warm 2700 K light with a 1530 lm output. A 60° × 10° beam forms a broad but shallow wash for vertical surfaces. The anti-glare construction is intended to improve visual comfort when the fitting is in view. Dimming depends on the selected driver: the manufacturer lists DALI, 1–10 V, PUSH and ON-OFF control options.

Outdoor installation

IP65 protection makes this luminaire suitable for exterior locations exposed to dust and water jets. A driver is not included, so a suitable 24 V driver must be specified for the chosen control method. Up to five E498 units may be connected, allowing a consistent sequence of light on a longer façade. It is a considered option for entrances, house walls, terraces and commercial architectural schemes where directional façade lighting is required.

Modern architectural detail

The elongated silhouette and dark-brown finish suit modern, minimalist architecture. Aluminium and glass give the product a restrained technical character rather than the appearance of a decorative indoor wall lamp. E498 is intended for shaping light on architecture, not for general room illumination.
