Zuma Line MADERA 8620403 pendant lamp, wooden bar 75 cm, 4 × G9

MADERA is a pendant lamp on a wooden bar 75 cm long and 6 cm wide, with four wooden tubes hanging from it on black cords. Each ends in a clear ring through which the bulb is visible. The manufacturer lists fabric as the secondary material — the braiding on the suspension cords.

Where it goes and how high

The bar is 75 cm long, so the fitting covers a stretch of tabletop rather than a point — the four drops spread light along the table instead of concentrating it. At 6 cm wide the bar is slim and blocks no sightline across the table.

Total height is 180 cm and that is a maximum: the cords are shortened during installation. Over a dining table with a 75 cm top, the drop is usually set so the tube bottoms sit 70–80 cm above the surface — the light then covers the table without shining into the eyes of those seated.

What bulbs it takes and how many

The fitting has four G9 sockets and no bulbs are included — four have to be bought at once. The manufacturer gives a maximum of 28 W per socket; that is the thermal limit of the narrow wooden tube, not a power draw, and with G9 LED lamps the whole fitting draws many times less.

Colour and brightness are yours to choose; over a dining table 2700–3000 K is the usual pick, warm light with a slight yellow cast. Because the ring at the tube end is clear, the bulb stays visible from below — the shape of the lamp you choose is part of what is seen.

Mounting and where it can go

The bar sits on a metal bracket screwed to the ceiling, slides onto it and is locked with a screw from the side. Because the bracket runs the length of the bar, the fixing points are spread along it rather than gathered at one spot — on a plasterboard ceiling they have to reach the supporting frame.

A bulb is changed by unscrewing the clear ring at the tube end and pushing the G9 capsule into the holder. The supply is 230 V mains and IP20 limits the fitting to dry rooms. It weighs 2,1 kg; the carton measures 76 × 19 × 14 cm.

What interior it suits

The manufacturer files the design under the Scandinavian style, and the construction shows it: bare wood with no ornament, a plain bar, thin black cords and no metal accents beyond the screws.
