PANEL TRACK is a black SLV light for 1-phase track, shaped as a flat rectangular panel measuring 30 × 15 cm. The housing is polycarbonate, and the panel on its adapter rotates through 350° and tilts through 180°, so the light can be aimed at a wall, a shelf unit or down at the floor.
What light it gives
The integrated LED module draws 18 W and delivers 1800 lm — enough for basic lighting rather than accent light only. At 3000 K the light is warm white, and a colour rendering index of Ra 90 means the colours of goods and materials look almost as they do in daylight. The manufacturer states a UGR of up to 27.5, a value above the limit of 19 used for office workstations, so the panel may glare over a desk and suits lighting a space and a display instead.
The driver is built in and the fitting runs directly from the 220–240 V track. It is protection class II. The manufacturer rates the module for 50,000 hours; the light source and the driver may only be replaced by a specialist. The fitting does not support DALI.
Mounting and compatibility
The light is designed for the SLV 1-phase track system and, according to the instructions, may only be used with the matching track; the adapter goes into the track in one direction only. No track, feed-in or connectors are included. The fitting weighs 0.549 kg.
Where it fits
A large, evenly lit surface and a high Ra 90 suit shops and displays, where faithful colour matters. The form is modern and plain. In the same series SLV offers a white version and a smaller panel.
