The Aldex FLO WALL RUBY S pairs a burgundy metal base with a rounded white opal-glass shade. This 7000C27_S version combines RAL 3005 with a glossy glass surface, while a small circular fixing detail remains visible above the shade support.
A 19 cm outline with 17 cm projection
The light measures 19 cm in both width and height, with an overall depth of 17 cm. Consider these measurements separately when choosing its position: the compact front outline does not mean the glass sits close against the wall. Beside a bed, compare the projection with the headboard; beside a mirror, allow room for the protruding shade.
The shade itself is 19 cm in diameter. Its rounded body stands forward of the flat circular metal plate, giving the fitting a different silhouette from the side. The side photographs are particularly useful for judging that relationship before installation. Burgundy belongs to the metalwork, rather than to coloured glass.
One E14 bulb and wall-switch operation
A single E14 socket accepts an LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. A light source is included. The opal glass conceals the bulb and diffuses light passing through it; this is not an exposed directional spotlight. When replacing the bulb later, retain the specified cap and maximum wattage.
Operation is through a wall switch, with no switch on the base itself. For a bedside position, plan the switch location alongside the electrical connection rather than assuming the light can be operated at the shade.
The Ruby finish within FLO
Designed by Wojciech Błaszczyk of Sedno Studio, the fitting contrasts a simple metal disc with organically rounded glass. Its restrained construction supports modern and modernist living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms. The manufacturer also suggests a pair beside a mirror or bed; that arrangement uses two separate fittings, with the burgundy bases and white shades providing a repeated visual detail.
