The Aldex Nave 2, code 1088PL_H1, is a black lamp with two milky-white glass globes on an asymmetric metal arch. Aldex files it as a ceiling light, but the drawing measures 120 cm from the canopy to the bottom of the lower globe. It is not a flat ceiling light. The cream variant is 1088PL_H9, and the wall version is 1088C1.
Size
Overall height is 120 cm, width is 37 cm, and each globe is 14 cm. The canopy is 10 cm across. The drawing also marks 34 cm from the canopy to the arch, a 21 cm arch span and 57 cm on the shorter side. The length is fixed, not a range.
Under a 250 cm ceiling the lower globe ends about 130 cm above the floor. Above a 75 cm table that leaves about 55 cm of air. A usual 80 cm walking clearance will not remain under the low globe, so it should not hang over a path. Measure the ceiling before fitting.
Light source
There are two E14 sockets. The 1088PL_H family sheet shows two E14 lamps as items to fit during installation, so they are not in the carton. The current product page and that sheet do not state a watt limit, and this text does not invent one. No dimmer is described. The milky globes hide the lamps.
Where it belongs
The form suits a table or a living area if the lower globe is not in a walkway. It does not suit a hall: 120 cm down from a typical ceiling reaches head height. The producer page does not state bathroom or outdoor use.
Form and fitting
The metal is matte black, the globes are milky white, and the arch is one asymmetric line. It reads as modern and minimalist. The carton contains the fitting with canopy, arch and two globes. A 10 cm canopy needs a ceiling outlet that can take it. The family sheet shows an L, N and PE connection.
