Antigo Shima T 7697 is a white spotlight for a three-phase track system. A joint connects its cylindrical head to the upper housing, while painted steel and a textured finish give it a restrained technical appearance. This version uses one replaceable GU10 LED lamp rather than an integrated LED module.
A head that changes direction
The manufacturer's drawing specifies 355° rotation and 90° tilt. This allows the tube to be aimed relative to the track and directs light towards a selected part of the interior, instead of keeping the head in a vertical position. The stated rotation is not a full 360° turn, a distinction worth allowing for when planning the arrangement of spotlights.
The drawing gives a height of 30 cm, a tube length of 19 cm and a diameter of 6 cm. Compare those dimensions with the ceiling height and the available space below the track. A tilted head occupies space differently from a vertical one, particularly near tall cupboards or fitted furniture.
Choosing the lamp and track
The socket accepts one GU10 LED lamp rated at a maximum of 10 W. Light colour, luminous flux and beam angle depend on the lamp selected, so the GU10 designation alone does not determine the lighting effect. Matching the lamps across several spotlights on the same track helps maintain a consistent light character.
The T version is intended for a three-phase system. Check that the proposed track is compatible with that system: this is not a standalone surface spotlight for direct attachment to the ceiling. The photograph illustrates the connection between spotlight and track, rather than the contents of a complete installation kit.
A simple shape for interior lighting
Slender cylinders and an exposed joint suit modern, minimalist and technically styled loft interiors. Adjustable aiming is useful in living rooms, dining areas, dressing rooms or shops where light needs to reach a particular zone. Track position and lamp specifications matter more to the result than the room's name alone.
