ASPEN 1646 is a pendant light from the Polish maker Argon with four globes of matt opal glass, mounted in pairs on two vertical chrome rods. The globes come in two sizes and are staggered at different heights, so the light forms a compact vertical composition rather than a single shade.
How big it is and where it hangs
The light is 67 cm tall and 50 cm wide. According to the maker's drawing, two globes are 20 cm in diameter and two are 16 cm, with a round 14 cm canopy. It hangs on rigid rods rather than a cable, so its height cannot be adjusted: compare the 67 cm drop from the ceiling with the height of your room and the space above the table.

Which bulbs it needs
The fitting has four E27 sockets and bulbs are not included. The installation card allows LED bulbs only, up to 15 W per socket, and gives the maximum bulb size: 50 mm in diameter and 105 mm long. A standard pear-shaped A60 bulb is 60 mm across and will not fit — smaller ones are needed, such as candle or golf-ball bulbs. The card permits dimming, provided dimmable LED bulbs and a suitable dimmer are used.
Construction and installation
The shades are opal glass, which diffuses the light and hides the shape of the bulb, and the frame is lacquered steel in a chrome finish. The light weighs 4.1 kg. It is protection class I — the terminal block has a clamp for the earth conductor, which has to be connected — and the maker recommends installation by an electrician. The same ASPEN series includes a version with a white frame and wall lights.
