Argon ASPEN 3733 is a white wall light pairing a matt opal-glass globe with a short, angular arm. The arm projects from a rectangular wall plate. Its painted steel parts have a textured white finish, keeping the fitting within one colour palette while contrasting the straight metal edges with the rounded glass.
Allow for the full projection
The fitting measures 19 cm high, 16 cm wide and 20 cm deep. Projection matters particularly beside a bed, close to a door or along a passage. The globe may look compact from the front, but the complete assembly reaches 20 cm out from the wall. Check that clearance against nearby furniture and circulation space before choosing the mounting position. This is not an adjustable spotlight: the opal globe spreads light rather than directing a narrow beam towards a selected surface.
Choose a bulb that fits inside the globe
One LED bulb with an E27 base is required and must be purchased separately. Maximum power is 15 W. The installation instructions also limit bulb size to 50 mm in diameter and 105 mm in height, so matching the base alone is not enough. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you choose; the matt glass conceals it and diffuses its light.
Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer; there is no built-in dimmer. The fitting operates at 230 V, and the instructions specify an earth connection and installation by a qualified person. A switch on the wall plate is listed as an option, rather than confirmed standard equipment.
Supplementary lighting with simple geometry
The globe and straight arm suit modern, modernist and minimalist schemes, including Scandinavian interiors. ASPEN can supplement living-room or dining-room lighting, sit beside a bed or provide wall lighting in a corridor or stairwell. It is not a directional reading lamp. When planning several fittings, base their spacing on the actual output of the selected bulbs.
