Wall Lamp ARGON Eufrat Black E27 IP20 3185

Argon EUFRAT 3185 is a black painted-steel wall light with an open shade, a short arm and a round wall plate. Its textured finish and exposed pivot give it a workshop-lamp appearance. This version takes one E27 bulb; it is not a fitting with an integrated LED module.

Shade adjustment without a height-changing arm

Argon confirms that the fitting is adjustable. The visible joint allows the shade position to change, which is different from adjusting the overall mounting height. The shade is open underneath, so consider both its angle and your seated position when deciding where to place it: the bulb may be visible from below.

The wall light measures 220 mm high, 120 mm wide and 200 mm deep. The manufacturer separately lists a shade height of 160 mm. Compare its projection from the wall with the space beside a headboard, chair back or circulation route before installation. A wall-mounted fitting keeps the bedside table or side-table surface available rather than occupying it with a lamp base.

Select the bulb and plan the switching

A light source is not supplied. The instructions specify an E27 LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W, and the fitting operates at 230 V. Brightness and colour temperature therefore come from the bulb you choose, not from a built-in light source. An illuminated product photograph does not specify the light that arrives in the package. Check bulb dimensions against the shade when selecting a replacement.

The manufacturer states that a switch can be fitted to the wall plate. Treat that as an installation option, not confirmation of a factory-fitted switch. Dimming also requires checking the selected bulb and the control arrangement rather than assuming compatibility from the E27 socket alone.

A local light with visible mechanical details

Consider EUFRAT beside a reading chair, near a bed or as supplementary lighting in a study, living room or hallway. In a dining room, hotel or restaurant, its role is local lighting rather than a guaranteed replacement for the room's main illumination. The metal shade, short arm and exposed joint suit industrial and modernist interiors where the fitting's construction remains part of the design.
