Armchair Gallery Direct Carrera Natural Linen Oak Frame 68.5x72x82cm

The Gallery Direct Carrera armchair combines a light, clearly drawn silhouette with a natural material palette. Its solid oak frame has a natural, gently weathered finish, while the tall back and separate seat cushion are upholstered in natural linen-coloured fabric. Carrera is an armchair with a calm mid-century-inspired character rather than a bulky, enclosed form.

Form and materials

The visible wooden arms flow into slender legs, with side rails creating an open frame. The upholstered back has a softly rounded profile. The manufacturer lists solid oak, plywood, polyester, foam and polyfibre among the materials, so the pale fabric and oak structure form a considered neutral combination.

Carrera armchair dimensions

• width: 68.5 cm,
• depth: 72 cm,
• height: 82 cm,
• seat height: 46 cm,
• seat depth: 51 cm.

The proportions make the construction easy to read: the frame outlines the upholstery rather than concealing it. Its 68.5 cm width and 72 cm depth can be compared with the intended footprint, while the 82 cm height describes the complete chair including its back. The natural colour scheme does not distract from Carrera’s precisely stated dimensions or its material-led character.

Considered detail

The tall padded back and separate seat cushion define the model, while the timber frame remains visible from the front and side. Carrera is supplied as a complete armchair and does not require assembly. It is a distinctive Gallery Direct piece for shoppers looking for an oak-framed armchair with linen-toned upholstery and a refined, open-profile design.
