Bazar Bizar The Macaron XL black rattan pendant lampshade, 150 cm

The Macaron XL by Bazar Bizar is a black, handwoven rattan lampshade with an iron framework. Its broad, flattened shape is defined by concentric support rings, with an open weave visible from the side and underneath. The shade measures 150 cm in both length and width and stands 47 cm high.

Allow for the full span

Before choosing a position, compare its width with your dining table, seating area and the available space beneath the ceiling. This XL version extends one and a half metres in both horizontal directions, rather than having the proportions of a small pendant above a side table. The stated 47 cm height refers to the shade itself, not an assembled suspension with a cable.

A large dining table or spacious living room is a setting to consider, provided the broad outline leaves enough room for movement. Black rattan and circular reinforcement rings give the natural weave a distinct graphic structure. These features suit boho and rustic interiors without relying on colour alone to define the style.

Choose the electrical components separately

An internal support ring accommodates a standard E27 fitting. The fitting, cable and bulb are not included and need to be selected separately. The suspension shown in photographs illustrates the appearance rather than the package contents. Light colour and brightness depend on the chosen bulb, not on the shade itself.

Gaps in the weave allow light to pass through instead of forming a continuous enclosure. When putting the suspension together, take into account that the light source can remain visible through this open structure.

Indoor placement and care

The manufacturer specifies indoor use only, including an explicit exclusion of covered outdoor spaces. Small differences in the weave and finish can occur because the rattan is worked by hand. Remove dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, following the manufacturer's care advice.
