Brinova DREVA Ceiling Light, Oiled Oak, Beige-Black Shades, 2×E27, 52 cm

Brinova DREVA pairs an elongated oiled oak base with two cylindrical linen fabric shades. Black edging outlines the beige fabric, giving each cylinder a clearly defined rim. This is the two-light ceiling version with an overall length of 52 cm, rather than a single wide shade containing several lamp holders.

Allow for the shades, not just the base

The fitting is 25 cm high and 13 cm wide. Its wooden mounting base is 37 cm long according to the manufacturer's drawing, which is a different measurement from the overall length. When checking the available ceiling space, allow for the full 52 cm span: the shades extend beyond the ends of the wood. Measuring only the base would leave part of the fitting unaccounted for.

Each shade measures 13 cm in diameter and 15 cm in length. The product photograph shows the two cylinders angled at opposite ends of the base. This arrangement distinguishes DREVA from a flat flush ceiling light and from a pendant suspended on a cable. Compare the 25 cm overall height with the space below your own ceiling before choosing its position.

Two E27 sockets

The manufacturer specifies two E27 sockets, each with a maximum lamp rating of 25 W. Check both the cap type and the power limit when selecting bulbs. The designation 2×E27 does not specify brightness or colour temperature: those depend on the light sources chosen. A maximum wattage should therefore not be read as a statement of lumen output.

Oak and linen with a contrasting border

Visible wood grain, pale fabric and a straightforward construction suit Scandinavian and modern interiors. Consider it for ceiling lighting in a living room, bedroom or hallway, taking its dimensions into account. The beige-and-black A0084 shade identifies this particular variant.
