RUMBA SILVER is a five-light ceiling lamp with a chrome-plated metal frame. Arms bent into loops spring from a round ceiling canopy, each ending in an open E27 lampholder — the lamp has no shades, so the bulbs themselves shape how it looks.
Size and mounting
The fitting measures 40 × 40 cm across and 25 cm tall. It mounts directly to the ceiling with no adjustable drop, so it suits rooms where a pendant on a long cable would take up too much headroom. Compare the 40 cm span with the size of the room and of any table it will hang over. Packed, it weighs 2 kg.
Which bulbs and how much light
The lamp has five E27 lampholders, and the manufacturer allows a maximum of 60 W per socket. Bulbs are not included. Five LED bulbs at around 806 lm each — the output of an old 60 W bulb — add up to more than 4000 lm, enough to serve as a room's main light. The lampholders are on show, so the bulb shape matters: in the manufacturer's photos the lamp is fitted with globe filament bulbs that echo the rounded loops of the arms. You choose the colour temperature — 2700–3000 K for warm light, 4000 K for neutral white.
The fitting has no built-in dimmer. To adjust brightness you need bulbs marked as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit. IP20 means the lamp is meant for dry indoor rooms only.
Style and intended use
Keter Lighting classes RUMBA as a modern design: smooth, mirror-finish chrome tubes bent into loose loops contrast with the plain round canopy. The manufacturer intends the range for living rooms, hallways, kitchens and restaurants. RUMBA also comes in a three-bulb version and in black, white, black/gold, black/silver and white/gold.
