CHAIN 91 ochre red LED wall lamp 3000K

CHAIN 91 is a vertical Thoro wall light built from oval steel links that overlap like a section of chain. It stands 91 cm tall and has a matt red ochre finish, matched by the wall plate. The LED light source is built into the body.

How big it is and where it fits

At 91 cm high the fitting is 10 cm wide, and 10.7 cm where the links overlap. Compare that with the free strip of wall you have in mind: the light occupies a clear vertical band, so it suits a wall without wall cabinets. It weighs 3.5 kg, so the fixings need to suit the type of wall.

The form is modern — plain geometric links, a single colour, no ornament. The manufacturer names corridors, lobbies and restaurants; at home it suits a hallway, a corridor or a living room.

What light it gives

The integrated LED module draws 9.75 W and delivers 1290 lm — more than an old 60 W bulb, which gave around 800 lm. 3000 K is warm white light, close to traditional domestic lighting.

Light leaves through the gaps between the links and falls on the wall to both sides, so the wall shows a rhythm of bright and dark bands rather than a single pool. The source is built in and is not replaced like a bulb; there is nothing to buy before the light works.

Dimming and construction

The CHAIN collection has integrated PUSH-DIMM/DALI control. Brightness is adjusted with an ordinary momentary push button (holding it changes the level) or from a DALI system — a conventional rotary dimmer is not needed.

The body is steel, the light is made in Poland and carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty. CHAIN 91 comes in many colours and in a 4000 K version, and the same series includes pendants 91 and 158 cm long, so the wall light can be paired with a light over the table in the same finish.
