CHOTA LE44310 by Luces Exclusivas is a black LED wall light formed from two slender lines crossing at a right angle. Its aluminium construction includes an off-centre square element against the wall, creating an asymmetric outline rather than a conventional shaded lamp.
A 50 cm outline with a shallow projection
The fitting measures 50 cm high and 50 cm wide, with a depth of just 4 cm. When choosing its position, allow for the span of both arms rather than judging it only by its shallow profile. It occupies a noticeable area of wall while projecting relatively little into the room. Compare these dimensions with the gap beside a picture, a corner or nearby furniture before installation.
Its form suits supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or entrance hall. In a corridor, the shallow depth limits how far the fitting projects towards the walkway, but its width still calls for sufficient clear wall space.
Integrated LED and warm white light
The LED source is integrated and supplied with the fitting, so there is no separate screw-base bulb to select. The manufacturer specifies 15 W, a source luminous flux of 880 lm and a colour temperature of 2700 K. This is warm white light, rather than a neutral or cool white version.
CHOTA operates at 230 V and supports TRIAC dimming. If brightness adjustment is part of the installation, allow for a suitable external TRIAC dimmer. Dimmability does not imply that a rotary control or touch switch is built into the wall light itself.
Crossed lines as part of the wall composition
The intersecting profiles, black aluminium and narrow illuminated surfaces support a modern, modernist and minimalist character. The asymmetric shape remains visible when the light is off. Compare the black LE44310 finish with the wall colour to decide whether you want a strong outline or a less pronounced contrast.
