Endon Carrie CARRIE-12 is a cream lampshade made from cotton-mix fabric, with curved sides that flare into a bell-shaped outline. Double-folded trim finishes the top and bottom edges, while white faux-silk fabric lines the inside. This is a separate shade to pair with a lamp base, rather than a complete light fitting.
Understanding the 31 cm size
The bottom diameter is 31 cm, the top diameter 15.5 cm and the height 24.5 cm. The size in the product name therefore refers to its widest part, not its height. Compare all three measurements when replacing an existing shade. A narrow top and flared lower edge produce a different silhouette from a drum shade with the same bottom diameter.
The rounded profile, pale fabric and trimmed edges give Carrie a classic appearance. When pairing it with a base, consider the proportions of the assembled lamp and the space occupied by the lower rim. Diameter alone does not establish compatibility with every lamp.
Check the attachment and bulb
Endon specifies a fixed gimbal and use with a GLS bulb with an E27 or B22 base, rated up to 60 W. Before ordering, check the shade attachment and lampholder on your chosen base. The bulb is not included. The shade has neither its own light source nor a brightness control.
Light colour, output and dimming capability depend on the selected bulb and lamp, not on Carrie's cream finish. It is intended for indoor lamps; suitability for a particular position needs to be assessed for the complete fitting rather than the fabric component alone.
