Endon Marsham MARSHAM-TLIV is a table lamp with an ivory-painted wooden base and a fabric shade in the same colour. Its shaped stem, rounded transitions and square foot give it a traditional outline. The shade tapers towards the top, leaving the decorative base visible beneath it.
Planning space for a 48 cm table lamp
The complete lamp is 48 cm high, with a shade measuring 28 cm in diameter. It stands on furniture rather than on the floor. Before choosing a side table, chest of drawers or bedside table, compare these dimensions with the available surface and the space above it. Allow for the shade extending beyond the base: room for the foot alone does not establish whether the whole lamp will fit.
The instructions require a stable, flat surface. Marsham can provide supplementary lighting in a living room or bedroom, while its traditional shape also suits classically furnished hotel and restaurant interiors. It does not have an adjustable task-lighting arm for directing light onto a particular working area.
A separately purchased E14 bulb
A bulb is not supplied. The current manufacturer card specifies a 6 W E14 LED lamp; also follow the rating label on the fitting when selecting a bulb. Brightness and light colour depend on that choice, so the fitting should not be treated as having a fixed 400 lm output.
An inline switch controls the lamp. Before connecting it to the supply, fit the shade using its retaining ring and install the appropriate bulb. Plan the cable route so that the switch remains accessible without moving the lamp whenever you want to turn it on.
Traditional details and care
Light painted wood and visible fabric texture work with furniture featuring traditional profiles, without introducing a prominent metallic finish. The manufacturer specifies indoor use and excludes bathroom locations. Do not cover the lamp with additional material. Before cleaning or replacing the bulb, switch off, unplug and allow ten minutes for cooling. The instructions specify cleaning with a dry cloth only.
