s.luce Edge combines a white square plate measuring 45 × 45 cm with a black arm containing an integrated LED source. The arm runs parallel to the plate and directs light towards its surface. Reflected light then enters the room, making the white plate part of the optical arrangement. The metal construction pairs a clear square outline with a contrasting black detail.

Mount it on the ceiling or wall

The manufacturer permits both installation methods. On the ceiling, Edge works as a close-to-ceiling light; on a wall, it can form a decorative lighting feature. The fitting projects 16 cm from the mounting surface. This dimension matters beneath a low ceiling or beside a route through the room, where the space occupied by the arm should be allowed for.

The manufacturer's applications include living rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and stairways. Different sizes and shapes from the series can be combined into a wall arrangement. This version contains one fitting with a white square plate; other shapes and finishes are separate options for building a larger composition.

Warm light with adjustable brightness

The integrated LED source uses 18 W and produces warm white light at 3000 K. The manufacturer states a nominal output of 1600 lm. Its indirect arrangement reduces the direct view of the emitting element, while the plate reflects the light into the interior. Brightness can be adjusted using a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge phase-cut dimmer.

The LED source is included, so no screw-in bulb needs to be selected. The manufacturer specifies replacement by a professional and an expected LED life of around 25,000 hours. Standard installation connects directly to the 230 V supply. A cable for connection to a socket is a separate accessory for an alternative installation and is not included in this version.
