Gea Luce GFA1290ND is a linear LED module for magnetic 48 V DC tracks. Its matt-black aluminium body has a rectangular profile and a row of recessed optical openings. This is a track-system component, not a standalone fitting for direct connection to mains voltage.
Neutral white light for a defined area
The integrated LED source operates at 12 W with a colour temperature of 4000 K. This produces neutral white light rather than the warm tone associated with many decorative lamps. The manufacturer specifies 1020 lm and a 38° beam angle. Account for this directed distribution when planning the installation, rather than expecting one module to illuminate an entire room evenly.
A CRI above 90 describes its colour-rendering performance. This matters when illuminating shop displays, as well as objects and materials in a living room or study. The unadorned rectangular housing also suits modern and minimalist track layouts without introducing a separate decorative shade.
Track compatibility and control
The module clicks magnetically into a suitable track in the Gea Luce 48 V system. A matching voltage alone does not establish compatibility with another manufacturer's track. The fitting cannot be installed in track corners. The manufacturer also provides for double switching; contact configuration must follow the supplied assembly instructions.
GFA1290ND is dimmable, but the control arrangement must be selected together with a compatible power supply. The control device is not included. A qualified installer should carry out assembly and electrical connections with the supply disconnected.
Cleaning the installed fitting
The instructions recommend a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Water and detergent must not reach cables or electrical components. These cleaning instructions do not mean the fitting can be rinsed under running water.
