Gea Luce GFA1871 Linear Magnetic Track Light, Black, LED 20 W 3000 K 48 V

Gea Luce GFA1871 is a linear LED fitting for magnetic 48 V tracks, finished in satin black. Its narrow body and visible row of optical elements give it a technical, minimalist appearance. The construction combines aluminium with a polycarbonate light-diffusing element.

Check the track code before choosing

The manufacturer permits installation only in GBIN40, GBIN41, GBIN42, GBIN43, GBIN44, GBIN45, GBIN46, GBIN47, GBIN50 and GBIN51 tracks. A 48 V marking on another system does not establish mechanical or electrical compatibility. When assembling a lighting layout, compare the actual track designation rather than relying on supply voltage alone.

The fitting uses a magnetic snap-in connection and requires 48 V DC. It is not intended for direct connection to a 230 V mains supply. Installation in track corners is also excluded, so allow a straight section in the layout. The assembly instructions require qualified installation and isolation of the power supply before work on the fitting.

Fixed warm-white output and on/off operation

The integrated LED source operates at 20 W and provides 1500 lm. Its 3000 K colour temperature is warm white, while CRI >90 indicates high colour-rendering fidelity. That figure is relevant when comparing lighting for merchandise displays where colour presentation matters. There is no screw-base bulb to select: the light characteristics belong to the built-in LED module.

Light is emitted directly with a 40° beam angle. Account for this angle when planning coverage rather than treating the fitting as a broad luminous panel. GFA1871 is non-dimmable and works by switching on and off; it does not support double switching. The stated lifespan is 25,000 hours, which should not be interpreted as a warranty period.

Restrained form and documented care

The straight black housing suits modern and minimalist interior lighting arrangements. The instructions specify cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent, followed by gentle drying. Water and detergent must not reach cables or electrical components. Retain the instructions for future maintenance rather than assuming the track connection removes the need for installation precautions.
